This is my newest 2010 design release. Who doesn't love pansies! This pattern is really easy and quick to make. The finished wool Candle Mat measures 10" x 15".
I highly recommend using 100% wool for everything but the background. Woolfelt can be used for the background and the backing if you wish to save on expense.
The center petals of the pansy are specially dyed and the pattern instructions will give a simple, quick and VERY inexpensive way to dye the petals to give them a more detailed look. The pansies look quite nice without dyeing the centers, so don't let that scare you away!
