Primitive Winged Head Gravestone Sampler

My winged head sampler is fashioned after the mid 1700's slate gravestones.
The sampler is completely stitched with a slate color floss.

The verse reads:
As you are now so once was I
As I am now so you must be
Therefore prepare to follow me.

I chose the date 1759.

The finished samper will fit a 5" x 7" frame.

My pattern includes cover, photo, professional chart, complete instructions, supply list, and staining technique.
