Expandable totes are the latest rage. So here is my version. Finished tote is 18 3/4" H x 16" W across the top when expanded. The straps have a 7 3/4" drop when tote is expanded. When the expansion is tucked away inside, the smaller tote is 13" H x 14 3/4" W across the top. The straps have a 14 3/4" drop when used as a small tote.
Both totes narrow to 12" W at the bottom with a 2 3/4" gusset. There are instructions to create 2 small side pockets on the inside measuring 2 3/4" W x 4" to 8" deep and One large pocket on the outside measuring 13" H x 14 3/4" W (across the top) x 12" W (across the bottom).
