Clara Thorn Sampler
My fondness for school girl style samplers and the color red were among the many inspirations behind this design. The patriotic motifs, strawberry vines, and baskets of apples remind me of summer! Inscriptions include: “Adorn thyself with grace and truth,” “My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory,” and “Clara Thorn worked this sampler in the 11th year of her age.” Stitched on 32 count linen with one thread over both one and two.
Pattern prints in large format on standard 8.5" x 11" paper so you can easily follow the over one stitches. Stitch count is 126H x 160w.
Pattern includes color photo, professional cross stitch chart with floss colors, aging instructions, and directions for framing your sampler.
